                        It all seemed too good to be true……Could it be those promises of better internet were finally happening?Yeah..exactly. Who are we kidding? Ontornet confirms the promises have fallen short. So it’s business as usual in Lebanon. Lousy internet, embarrassing electricity service, overpriced mobile phone rates, sketchy landline connections, mountains of water and yet not enough in the water tank, politicians making fools of themselves, unbearable traffic on poorly maintained roads and you still need to know somebody to get things done or at the very least you’ll need to “pay this guy”.

Healthy Choice

        Is there a link between brain tumors and cell phone usage? Luckily, even with “deals” from mobile providers, the rates are still so high that most Lebanese limit their usage. Thanks Alfa and MTC for keeping us healthy. Now if you could only raise the price of cigarettes and issue tickets for speeding and not using seatbelts.
