While you take back some special items as you leave Beirut……

We’ll be taking back some special items as well. We’ll take back what’s left of our electricity and our clogged internet will return to pre-summer inefficiency. Our waiters will return to smiling again. The severe traffic and guest drivers hell-bent on out-doing the local drivers will be replaced by normal chaos. As you leave and take your criticisms of Lebanon, along with your comparisons of your home/host country, we’ll stop defending and explaining Lebanon and get back to our national pastime; complaining and criticizing Lebanon
