Always be alert! Potholes are common during the rainy season and the not rainy season.
Be aware! Drivers often drive into oncoming traffic but they may alert you by flashing their headlights or they may not. Oncoming traffic is usually detected by the sight of a front bumper coming in your direction, this is true in most cases, however, be advised that cars may actually be coming in your direction while facing forward. This is known as a reverse motion (reverse lights may be non-functioning).
Discarded tires are put to good use! Yard furniture and potted plants may also be used in the absence of tires. Tires are multi-purpose in the event of a demonstration, always re-use and recycle. Tire donations are always welcomed.
This arrow does not indicate where traffic should go, it is pointing to the heart of the pothole. Avoid this area.
Please drive safely.
