Public Service Announcement II

Exercise caution around any exposed electrical wires, however,
your risk of electrical shock is greatly decreased due to the continuous power interruptions.
Even at peak the current is weak so you would only get a bit of a buzz anyway and well worth the risk if you need to "borrow" some electricity from your neighbor.

Any tape works well to make a connection, electrical tape, scotch tape, masking tape, police tape.
Really a twist tie is fine too.

  1. this post kinda of remindes of the soccor games in 2006? when the power in our neighborhood was down...some of the neighborhood guys took a small tv to the virgin mary setup on the cornor, and plugged the tv into her power :S

  2. What a tangled web we weave, when we have terrible electricity service!

  3. Our electric service doesn't go out too often, but I have seen many wires here like in your photos. Makes me wonder how many people have been electrocuted...
